The challenge
Crypto onboarding is intimidating: KYC, wallets and trading concepts all arrive at once. The sign-up path was too long, and too many people dropped off before their first trade.
The approach
I redesigned the onboarding flow to hide complexity rather than flatten it, sequencing KYC and education so users were never overwhelmed. I also revamped the trading dashboard for clearer, faster decisions.
The outcome
Average sign-up time dropped 35% (tracked through Play Store analytics) and KYC completions rose 28%. The trading dashboard revamp lifted daily trade volume 12%.
